Buzz has been playing Tucson's Country Favorites on KiiM-FM since June of 2001. He's been nominated for an ACM Award,  a CMA award, another CMA Award, and in 2010 he won the Academy Of Country Music Awards Medium Market Personality Of The Year award.

Buzz and Wrangler The Dog are currently "walking with the mayor" to try to walk 100 miles between now and June. 

Facts about Buzz Jackson:

1) he once took a college class in bowling.

2) his hobbies include photography, more photography, exploring new places, music, public service, science, and computer stuff. And he LOVES Las Vegas. And Star Wars.

3) If he won the lottery, he would buy a bunch of old junked cars from the 50s and 60s and restore them.

4) He's never tasted shoe, but he came close.

5) He once clogged the nation's mail service with pumpkins.

6) He enjoys manipulating local media.

7) He thinks you should sign up to help beat breast cancer.

At home is his lovely wife Dena, daughter Elizabeth, a cat named Mikado, and Wrangler The Dog, who is a little bit of everything, and who is so well trained, he can actually help empty the trash.

In addition to the ACM Award, he's also won Employee Of The Month at NewCity Communications in Orlando, and Employee Of The Month at Wendy's in Glen Cove, New York. He also had the honor of flying with the US Air Force Thunderbirds back in March 2010. And maybe you've caught him on TV?
