On his 32nd birthday on Tuesday (May 13), Morgan Wallen treated fans to a preview of his forthcoming album, Iâm the Problem, at a series of listening parties at his Nashville establishment, Morgan Wallenâs This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen. The country superstar also shared insightful stories behind the new songs, most of which stemmed from highly productive writing sessions. âWe took a few writing trips for this album. All of them were extremely successful, so itâs something Iâm probably going to continue doing,â Wallen said. âItâs just nice to get away to wherever and strictly focus on songwriting without any of the distractions from being at home or being with other people. It was just songwriters all in a house together, spending a majority of our time working on the album.â Iâm the Problem is scheduled for release on May 16 â the same day that Wallenâs inaugural Sand in My Boots Festival kicks off in Gulf Shores, Alabama â and it includes collaborations with Tate McRae on âWhat I Want,â Eric Church on âNo. 3 and No. 7,â as well as a duet with HARDY titled âCome Back As A Redneck.â âIâm really, really fired up for that song,â Wallen enthused.
